Time to Book Your Summer Musication !

Get ready to ROCK all Summer long at School of Rock Vienna. We have put together an awesome line-up of Summer Performance Season Show Themes! Sign-ups will go live on Monday, June 5th at 7pm SHARP! Rehearsals will kick-off the week of July 10th. So, which band will you choose?

House Band & JV Band Together at Shipgarten
Our stellar JV & House Bands, banded together and took over the stage at The Shipgarten Tysons! It was a Sunday filled with great music, food, and fun! Check out some photos below. We look forward to playing there again next month - Sunday, June 4th! Come spend the afternoon with us, supporting local music and venues!!

Summer Camps
Summer Camps enrollments are in full Spring! The Summer of Rock Season starts June 26th and grooves all the way through the week of August 7th. Whether your camper is a beginner, budding rocker, or a seasoned stage vet - we've got you covered! Click on the button below to check out this year's line-up and enroll. As always, Brian is just an email or phone call away at the front desk to answer any questions, and help you choose the best camp for your rocker!

Meet SOR Bassist & Guitarist Emily B!

What is your favorite thing about School of Rock Vienna?  My favorite thing has been getting to play music I like with my friends and having the opportunity to perform live!

 

What is one of your favorite things you’ve learned from your time here so far? I have learned how to communicate with others while playing and improvising the chords of a song.

 

What advice would you give to all the new SOR student musicians? My advice to new SOR students is to practice with a metronome and memorize the chords of your songs.

 

Top 5 Bands/Artists You Love:

  1. Radiohead
  2. Deftones
  3. The Strokes
  4. The Smashing Pumpkins
  5. Pierce The Veil

If you could be in any band or artist (past or present) who would it be and why? I would be in Radiohead because their music has very unique parts and I love the tone of their songs!

Summer 2023 Intern Program Application Deadline!
Our application deadline for accepting Summer Interns has been extended to Friday, May 12th. Please make sure to speak with Brian at the front desk if you did not receive the application link! Performance Program students ages 12 and up are eligible to participate in our Summer Intern Program where they learn leadership skills through mentoring campers, hang out with their peers and have fun rocking out. We'll be posting the sign up info later this month, so stay tuned!
